And I've been having bad days at the office but not as bad as THAT ... surreal

Well, it's been two months, so I guess I better update this thing... surreal I have been up to my armpits at work in Patriot Act paperwork these days, putting in about 60 hours a week on average for a while now. 10 hours a day, 6 days a week. Ugh. It's exhausting, but the pay is welcome. What's amazing to me is that if we...

We do need a descisive leader. because we don't have one now.

Where you been? Just got back online myself after building a pc - My band played today (setlist in my journal)

I think, even dead, Zappa would be a better leader than we're used to.

Went to Shreveport this weekend with my brother. Gambled. Lost about $400. Cried. frown I left Shreveport smelling like cigarette smoke and desperation. Oh well, at least I got to hang out with my brother for a while, so something good came out of it. After not speaking to each other for about a decade or so, it's cool that we're starting to get close again....

Of all the times that I have gambled, I lost more times than I had won ... you know what they said: " the house always win " ...
I started to play poker now but haven't had any luck winning but I enjoyed the mental part of the game, playing all the probabilities in my head ...

good thing for you and your brother ...

"Cigarette smoke and desperation", reminds me of every trip I ever took to Vegas. Munich is on my list for next week, then again, it was on my list for last week. Working in the same industry as you, (I'd say who, but they'd probably fire me for an ethics violation just for mentioning them here) I also have a three day weekend.. Hooray for days that the market is closed. I'll be flipping channels hoping someone is carrying Al Gore's speech.

What did you say you were willing to do to make 2006 a good year?

Good grief; I'm sorry to hear that. I hope your niece gets well, and soon.

Edit: I made a stupid joke about meth labs on the CE boards, before I read your journal. Just so you know that I'm not a spectacularly callous jerk if you run across the comment. (I'm really only a slightly dim, run-of-the-mill jerk.) And I do sincerely hope your niece gets better.

I did hear about those grassfires! Some pretty big ones going on down here!

Seriously, I don't understand how people can get so angry at eachother that they resort to violence leading to death. If you're THAT pissed at someone, don't you think you'd move away or avoid that person? confused
fstick13:
Nope not really..people are going to be dumbasses no matter how much you understand them tongue

Just an unfortunate series of events....
