the mind is a funny thing. i sometimes wake up with a song in my head and don't have any clue why. like i must have heard it the day before at some point and it was recorded in my mind but i didn't notice at the time at all. crazy.

I had some problems with the idea of Slashin' of the Christ, because I thought it raised a lot of troubling issues about violence in media. (ie people might think a certain movie should be banned, but they'll bring their children to a snuff film about the son of God)

So I wanted to see it to make sure that I understood the film before I condemned it. Having seen it, it's a better film than I expected, and not as brutal as I expected.

I'm glad you like the profile pic. I may not be a very skilled photoshopper, but I like to think of it as a small personal victory.

Not yet - the guy brought me Passion of the Christ to watch, but I won't get my mitts on City of God until next week.

I checked out the glass front-and-back frame thing. Looks like it would be cool for some things, and would probably work better if the walls behind the art in my apartment would have any texture other than "apartment-blah" behind them. But I went for the floating mount and a deep rabbet, high-gloss black wood frame.
