Hello my Loving Cats and Bats!

First things first: I want to apologize for my absence recently. I've been pretty sick; down for the count. Crohn's disease had me like whoa... :( I hate that I haven't been posting and I've really missed you all, but I've been so lethargic... So, I've been resting as much as possible, not really interacting with people all that...

Wow, really love your courage, determination and dedication to this site. I joined about the same time you became a hopeful. Met some awesome people in my time here. Became good friends with a lot of the UK SG's most have left, quit and some have had bad experiences with the behind the scenes stuff. Β I rejoined due to personal issues and M hoping to make some friends like i did before. I was always a staunch defender of SG but have to admit Im struggling with the new site. The navigatin is nit

Hello my loving Cats and Bats..

I hope all is well in your neck of the woods! I haven't been blogging as much as I should and I'm sorry for that... I'm in the process of a move and I'm pretty stressed about everything that's been going on. I also stepped away from the shop for a while.. I needed the time away.

Happy Holiblaze! :) My birthday is on The 25th so I grew up having my birthday party and presents on Christmas eve and then getting Christmas presents on Christmas. Nowadays I'm far from family so I just decorate and play Christmas music 🎢 I hope your holiday wasn't too painful, take care.

My mom grew up poor and one way they saved money was to have a cross instead of a tree. My aunts would gather around and decorate the cross with home made ornaments and such. My mom brought this tradition into our home and we rarely had a tree. I started doing this because being away from my nieces and nuclear family I needed something to keep me connected to them. I have started or restarted this tradition in my own household just for the feel of home.
