Good luck funding your Amsterdam trip (and I STILL say you should get a car because when you get back from your trip...you'll still want one). I say get a car. Cars make life better. Even if it's a cheap car it's a lot better than nothing. Plus a lot of times you can get a better job with a car.
I think the bird got the best of the snake...it was probably eaten by the bird when I left. But, as I drove away from the poor little guy, he was all I could think about...it was wierd I had that image of the bloody snake looking up at me for the rest of the day.
