I got paid today.

It does't take much to make me happy.

Chest pains and a chance encounter with a total bastard on the Boards aside...
I got to say it was a good day.

How're you?
guitargeek:
Chest pains? Knock that shit off!
theslant:
Chest pains are hardly ever good. Hopefully it's more of an indigestion-related thing and not something more serious.

Happiness that comes from little things is the best kind of happiness. It's uncomplicated, simple, and possibly abundant. I have a story that I usually tell related to this, but I've got to get to bed in a bit.

quick question: is that an effects pedal in your profile picture? and if so, what does it do? and did you make it yourself?

I hadn't even known that I was the group owner of the Haiku groups before, I was the owner of two, at any rate, this new one we made is new and kinda messed up, just like the old ones.

We're workng on it.

My best friend has an inside joke about me, which he never fails to jab me with whenever I see him. He lives around the corner and I often walk to his place to shoot the breeze. Typically, he sits on the front porch, watching his kids play in the yard. From his vantage point on the front porch he can see me walking down...

HOORAY DRUGS AND STRONG DRINK!
trixel:
Maybe they mean a nymphomaniac girlfriend. It's been my experience that sex can be just as obliterating as booze and drugs.

I didn't know you had West Nile. I guess the slight mosey is one of life's bodymods. smile

I have learned to use my insomnia as a device to purposely screw with my own head.

The first time I ever stayed up all night until dawn, I was 7 years old. The effect on my consciousness was what I imagine the aboriginal's 'dreamtime' must be like. A soaring buzz and the crazy feeling of seeing spectors and wispy, sentient, flying things out of...

Sleep deprivation is a trip. I used to work on a newspaper where near production I'd spend days with minimal sleep. You described the sound and visual distortion perfectly. robot

To be honest, I have a rather strong personal policy about copying DVD's. It's just not something that I agree with (the whole piracy thing, I mean). If you lived nearby, I would gladly yet you borrow it. Unfortunately, Arizona and North Carolina ain't so close. LOL!

However, if you do want to see it, blockbuster.com has it. That's actually where I first saw it. I'm not sure if you're a member of that or not, but it's great! Let me know if you'd like me to send you a direct link to that movie.

Here's the link:

strange nervousness interspersed with laughing melancholia, dim cosmic awareness and bizzare world epiphany. looking at eternity edge-on and seeing a line as thin as a dime; things that can't have happened but are somehow memories

...it took all morning to scrape together this high, and now, I eat them.

I agree...Ghosts in your garage are the best, (except for those pesky English blokes who run around headless screming like a banshee!) Sorry, just saw the new profile additions, something I noticed as of late seems like a phenomenon.

Ummmm....Yeeee-ah, that is a really, um...'beautiful' haiku-sonnet thing you got goin up there...But who? who do you eat? (Inquiring minds wanna know!? Can't talk about cannibalism without my ears perkin up)

And Thanks fer the damned B-Day greetings, I think I just may make it to 84! wink

(BTW...you are the first I have seen with the knowledge of how to place a pic where your fucking Bonny poem about your bonny face was...Nice...)

ugh. I'm coming off a bender.

I remember washing a smelly dog, eating general tsu's chicken and imbibing a vast amount of beer.

The rest is a nauseating haze.

And now, I shall throw up.

i guess benders are necessary sometimes....

I read that the average American only has two close friends and also that the percentage of people who have no close friends is nearly 25%. I think that's pretty sad, but I'm not surprised. I've been pondering the dynamics of friendships for about the last 20 years. My two closest friends think that's it's natural that a man would eventually find himself without any...

Psh, I have a pet rat who thinks deeply every day. Aside from eating my leftovers, that's mostly what she does.

That sounded like a quote I should recognize, but I suspect I won't be remembering why.
