I wish I was at E3. All those games and all that nerdy talk. I'm such a sucker for nerdy talk. I already have my anniversary/birthday/Christmas/Valentine's Day lists thought out.

I'm so over the heat, bring back the cold weather!

I am well and truly lucky!

It is good to have fun stuff...oh, who is Wesely Willis?

He's an "outsider artist" if there ever was any. He was a morbidly obese scitsofrenic who would play the demo songs on keyboards and sing repetitive songs about anything he felt like. Everything from names of bands to Dog rearends. Its really funny and kind of sad. He died last year and it was really sad because all he liked to do was sing.

That was a weird description, I think its something you have to hear to understand.

Hey, I have a question, I hope i'm not being nosey...what do you do in anarctica anyway?

I am so ecstaticly happy about Morrissey releasing a new album and touring! I feel like I'm in high school again. And I still do melt when I see his eyes peering from a magazine, who cares if he now has a head full of gray hair and fuller face, he's still the Moz!!!

And, should a 27 year old get excited about Lollapalooza? Isn't...

A spinning wheel? Wow..I am insanely jealous!

I don't know how to spin but am desperate to learn how. I can also crochet, weave (but still very much a novice) and dye yarns with natural and acid dyes. If I had more money and more time I would have a space devoted entirely to fiber arts, or at least finally get to college to get that fibers degree I've been eyeing up.

But..til then...knitting rocks my socks!

I'm sure warm fiber comes in handy in Antarctica? smile
kay:
Yes, the warm fiber does come in handy. Unfortunately I'm allergic to anything that has donate fur to the cause. So I take an allergy pill, make stuff for others, and keep to the synthetic stuff for me. smile Spinning is such a form of meditation for me. No matter how bad my day is if I can go directly to my wheel the moment I walk in the door, I'm good.

Its when really stupid happy things happen to me during the day that I miss be able to call my mom whenever I want.
And I hate thinking she's in the hospital all by herself with only the Food Network to keep her company late at night.

I'd be insanely excited about the Maryland Sheep and Wool Festival this weekend if I wasn't so worried...

So i get a copy of Siren, a game I have been drooling over for quite awhile, and I've only opened the instruction booklet. Two days I've had it and I haven't even turned on my PS2 yet.

I have a Tarnation song running over and over in my head. And when I think about it all I can see is an old dusty hotel...
