Yeah, I think the plan has merit. We'll see how long I stick to it.

And, yeah, absolutely, compromises are fine, but they should be the right ones and for the right reasons, and you really don't NEED to. Sounds like you're doing pretty good with it right now. You know what I've found about myself? I crush REALLY hard at the beginning of a new thing and I'll be all like, "she's perfect! she likes what i like, she's beautiful, blah, blah, blah" and I sort of choose to ignore things that I don't dig on, you know? That lasts maybe a day or two, a week at most, and then reality starts hitting and it's like , "she's pefect if only" And I'm right back into my "if only" theory, and I start not liking them so much. It's like buying a car, you need that cooling off period to let your emotional and rational minds kibbutz a little.

I believe in destiny. I say make it happen. There's a reason he hasn't left your mind.

Do I ever have someone like that. Actually, I've been dreaming about him all week. Something about me trying to find his cabin on a ship. Weird. I want to contact him, but I know I shouldn't. Funny thing is that he was such a bastard to me and yet I still measure others against him.

Aw, paranoia, it's really not so bad as long as it doesn't rule ya'. Besides, I find that I'm usually at least partially right, which I was in the case of the ex this time too. Maybe we shouldn't call it paranoia, but rather perceptive. What do you think?

Yeah, sweety, I wouldn't worry about him so much. I mean, what can I say, but I just don't think anyone should get hung up on someone else. If he was cool, but it didn't work, well, I'm not saying don't call him or anything, just be aware of the energy that you're putting into and decide if you're putting in enough, or too much. If it's too much, there's someone better out there for you. And, yeah, you can get someone better looking too. I mean, he's not nasty or ugly, I just think you can do better. Just my opinion.

Just when all looks bleak in Duckville, the former Mr. Kornikova rides to the rescue. I actually think the Ducks will be better next year with the addition of Prospal & Fedorov.
