Glad you appreciate what I had to say. My words have gotten less antagonistic and outright inflammatory since Wednesday morning - all part of the cooling-down process I would imagine. Now I'm better able to confront what the right-wingers say without getting too aggravated. Don't know what I'll do now, though. Any ideas?

Someone related a story in the forums about a woman he knows who witnessed her Kerry vote on a touch-screen machine get redirected to Bush. That got me to thinking that it might be worthwhile to try and track down as many stories like this one as possible. I asked the guy if he could put me in touch with the woman for a personal interview. I hope she agrees.

Face it - Republicans are even more convinced than ever that Bush has fairly won his presidency. And, without a battle from Kerry, there's nothing to point to except vague rumors of fraud. Nothing can be proven because the black box machines have no paper trail. But there's truth to be found.

In an article today, the Monkey was talking about his popular vote victory as "capital...that he intends on cashing in." And went on to use his--and I'm paraphrasing here--"if you're not with us, you're against us" on his fellow citizens.

On a lighter note, I think I glimpsed Cheney grinding the organ as the Lil' Monkey did his acceptance-speech dance.

What does "we all know about Florida" mean? It's more like Palm Beach County.
