My tentatively proposed Anti-Grammy party just ain't gonna happen. Have to work with my composer on music for the movie.

Lots of stress lately - sleeping only about 4-5 hours a night, waking up feeling like ass.

I need one of those 90 minute massages at a spa. Ooh-la-la, tres bourgeois!!

I have had it up to here *holds hand over head* about being asked to work on the Grammys. I hate them. Every year they call me up and every year I tell them how much I hate that quality music is not recognized on the show that is designed to recognize quality music. "Oh, come on, it's not that bad this year," they always...

Hey I didn't even see your response to my post on Sketch Comedy until today. I know what you mean about not wanting to do it again. I guess it was just a passing thought to get back into it myself. Thanks for the reply.

So, before I went to Cineman's rockin' Golden Globes party last night, I got my first and most assuredly last Thai massage. Color me ignorant, but I had an impression that it was going to be therapeutic, soothing and relaxing. I had no idea that I was going to get my ass kicked by an 80 pound Asian girl. Now, I've got an extraordinarily...

I basically didn't do a damn thing yesterday, but then that's what sundays are usually like for me. Do all the lazing and procrastination I possibly can before having to go back to work on monday. Blah. Sometimes I love work, but blah.
Did you accomplish your lovely to-do list? smile Man, that's such a lovely list! ('cept I don't know lori)
And how is your monday? I am tired and back on this damn computer. But I'm happy.

So who is the McFlirt now? I'll be right...there. Yeah, I didn't do anything on your list either, though, damn I wish I could've. smile

Firstly, the good news: my interview has been published on The Comic Fanatic.com
It's actually pretty entertaining and informative.

Secondly, I have been on perhaps the last date of my life. I just cannot take it anymore. Was having a nice time with a lovely woman I thought was interested in me (at least from the way she kept calling and saying how much she...

That would be super awesome. What would be even more awesome is my professor reading it before it's sent out. shocked
I figured that one was yours after I poked around a bit, noticed that each had a date, and one of today's was an interview. Very cool!

I cannot go on living another moment without admitting what a thing I have for Jennifer Tilly. There is nothing I would rather do than watch and listen to her. Even in crap like Bride of Chucky. She is just so damn interesting and unique! Missy should recruit her for an SG.

The Black Forest graphic novel is finally done. The picture is locked on...

Small world! I have had a thing for Jennifer Tilly myself for many years. The fact that her apparent ditziness is all a very clever put-on makes her all the hotter, IMHO...

Maybe I can write a good role for her one day and commit a shameless abuse of power. Hmmm...gotta run!

DUDE: even smaller world: I just went to your website and viewed the trailer (very nice work, btw) and noticed your composer, Andy, whose work I have enjoyed in SW and elsewhere...and who scored Five O'Clock Shadow, which one of my best friends Jim shot, and his fiance Traci co-wrote and directed! I even cut a new trailer of it last year to use on Jim's reel (I have been helping him with his reels for 2 years).

Damn! I wonder who else we both know?

I wonder if there's some SG rule about posting a journal entry while heinously drunk. Because that's what I am right now. Sweet merciless Satan, I am to' up from the flo' up.

I am finally back home to my busy-ass life. Here's some randomness that I have learned today:

SG strangers don't want to be added as my friends.

An artist who we asked...

cineman:
Hey, man. I've seen you around the E.I. group and wanted to say hi...

Me and some other SG gents are thinking of forming an L.A. pro filmmaker's social club of sorts. We're calling it a gang, actually, and it would basically be a networking / socializing thing, possibly with an SG affiliation - if they approve the group I sent it. Let me know if you want more info, and rock on!

I'm in a hotel full of recording artists and I'm working on a music show, so it shouldn't be a surprise that Eddie Levert is sitting at the bar. But he's sitting at the bar alone -- and I figure I'll go say hello. Now, for those of you who don't know, Eddie Levert is and always has been a member of the preeminant 70's...
