My blood tests, heart monitor and MRI are all clean. Strangely enough, all show that I'm healthier than I have ever been physically. However my dizzy spells still continue. Here are the options left:
- Panic attacks, and possibly developing agoraphobia. We're trying me on Paxil CR since the Clonazepam (spelling?) didn't do dick-all. I really don't like...

Thank you for the loverly comment! I'm sure we'll come up with something before the big day. I have some very very very old Converse-style rollerskates, but they hurt so much to wear. Plus, I leant the wheels to a very worthy cause - a skateboard Plus, dizzy spells + old rollerskates can = ouchie. Especially if you're having a few drinks....

I've had three mri's now, and each one seems a little more intense than the last. Though this time I had the fun pleasure of ice cold fluids being injected into me so they could pick up whatever better. I felt it hit my veins, then slide it's icy way down my arm, back up again, then into my chest to my heart. Eep! 
Not a pleasant feeling at all. And I felt just like you described...a flaky pastry that's been pulls a bit apart. Bleh!

I understand what you mean by the "token gay friend." I grew up in a wealthy, white town, and my friends used to talk about getting a black friend so they didn't look racist (when they, in fact, were. Slightly. It was their upbringing, so I didn't hold it against them. I do now.), but the conversation made them look SO racist it hurt. I don't get why people think they need some demographic in their circle of friends. Like people for who they are, regardless of what that may be.

I commend you for only taking a week off of work when that happened. I know if someone that close to me were to pass away I would be off for at least a month. But seriously, that's so strong. Unbelievable that your work wouldn't approve a real vacation for yourself. It's incredible that management can be so insensitive during certain periods in life... they can all get bent.
