There are a pair of giantic bullfrogs living in my goldfish pond, and my backyard is full of birds and bunnies. The dogwood is blooming across the hills in different colors. There are some things I like about being here.

The coyotes in the hills are really loud tonight; I can hear them from all the down here. I wonder what's got them so riled?

Sometimes I think the only reason I keep living is to deny this place and the people who live here the satisfaction of seeing me dead.

Another weekend almost past me now. Things were mostly boring, except for some more dysfunctional family stress than usual. This will one day be rectified, however, as I intend to adopt a new identity when I finally left here. If anyone asks, my entire family was eaten by backwoods cannibals. It's convincing 'cause it happens often enough here.

I slept 16 hours straight...and loss 3 pounds doing it. Can anyone explain that one to me? I do toss and turn a lot, and I"m a light sleeper, so I guess all the movement constituted an iron-man like exercise. I'm also feeling really light-headed since waking up, and that's something new. I've had some major oversleeps in my day, but they've never left me...
