I don't understand how a movie with this premise can be called a "horror." I know horror can take many forms, but... slowly dying of exposure? I'm not convinced that would be so thrilling to watch.

Maybe I'm being unfair. I'll see it if the reviews are good.
circe3:
The interview says that some people faint and puke because of the movie. Must be a bit thrilling then wink

oh, sweet rejection.... why does applying to school have to feel like you're contending to be miss (or mr) america? why does the rejection have to feel like some boy or girl you had a crush on just told you that they think you're ugly and stupid and they hate you? but this i can recover from, like that dumb saying: "if at first you...

Misery Obscura is an amazing piece of work.
Anyone who considers themselves a Fiend must have this.
The early Misfits and Samhain photos are just awesome.

i wish i could say that i'm in great spirits today, but i'm so frustrated! have you ever had one of those days where it feels like everybody is on crack, and they're not sharing any of it with you? i always thought i was the one on crack. but a nice hot bath and a big hug from somebody special will make the day...

yay! my shoot went rather well this weekend. there was some sun in the bay area, but so cold at night. i finished yesterday at 2:30. i'm just hoping that all my shots come out, cuz i don't have time to go back up there and re-shoot stuff. what could be better than 2 girls running around cupertino in bikinis, one chasing the other with...

im gonna have to disagree, the movie was cheeeesy. i believe in making things scarier by allowing your imagination to fill in the blanks, i wish we would never have seen the wolfman dead on..
malutka:
I have no idea if its cheesy or not. I have not seen it yet. I Love Hopkins for sure. It's one of my favourite actors. Very charismatic
In case of Del Toro I am not a big fan of him. I always mistake him with Brad Pitt;0 Shame on me.

poop on a stick! i was going to start cutting and splicing my film project when i got done with my film class. i went in, made one splice, tried to run a roll through the projector, and then darkness. the power went out! so i was fighting my way in the dark, trying to rip my film out of the projector and grab all...

This is an amzing film... My co-worker is from Burna and he told me about the film about two weeks ago... It is really tragic how many poeple have to live in such areas where fear acompanies the population... I rate this one a 10 and highly recomend it... Made me feel the need to want to do something to help these people.... Sad but what can we do.... Many peole die for freedom and many will continue dying.... As long as we have corrupt governments as well as Dictators.... Many people will live under oppresion and torment....
pyromethious:
Not to draw a comparison, but this further humbles my understanding of that part of the world than when I watched the 'behind the scenes' for the latest Rambo film that covered the same conflict. One of my friends from highschool calls this place home and I had no idea that it was so crumbled. And then we all saw the news of the Monks. That brought on memories of tiananmen square. While I have lived in places of turmoil before, you forget that just because you live in peace, that doesn't mean that things like this do not exist and require the attention of all or it will continue.

This interview gives away too much of the novel's plot. Put a spoiler alert on there, eh?

rat farts! or something to that extent. i can't help but laugh. it's better than throwing shoes... i've had better weeks than this one, but, hey, i'm all in one piece and nothing really tragic has happened. but i do think that kharma is kicking my ass this week. got rear ended on tuesday (which scared the crapola out of me). that girl is back...
