Sorry to hear about Vegas not working out but from what I have heard it's not all it's said to be sadly.I still want to visit Vegas some day though as I have been wanting to do that for a long time now,one of the few places here in the USA that I haven't been to yet.
The Halloween party sounds like fun stuff,looking forward to the picture of your costume and such.
