Well, this week certainly has been awesome.

I started off Monday getting ready for my first ever scuba class. I was excited and nervous at the same time, but we managed to get everything together and into the water. And I gotta tell ya, the rush of taking my first breaths underwater energized me in a way Ive never felt before. It certainly was a...

My mom caught me surfing the site today (I generally don't surf SG is there's the possibility that my parents are nearby), and while she wasn't that mad about it, she did say that she doesn't want me surfing "porn."

I was a little miffed about this. I've seen a lot of people give SG this definition, and it upsets me. SG is a lot...

People like to label things. I think it's more of a defense mechanism than anything. It's like they don't feel comfortable unless they label something. Hence why SG is labeled as "porn"
cleokat:
Yeah, SG is considered and marketed as soft core porn. I, however, see the site as artistic smile The point you made about museums: I say that all the time to other people! I'm glad I'm not the only one biggrin

Yesterday was the one year anniversary of the passing of a friend of mine. I remember quite vividly what I was doing around that time. I had come home from the Saturday evening performance of the Shakespeare play I was doing, to find lots of messages on my Facebook wall about hoping my friend pulls through. I spent the whole of the weekend from that...

Well, the show's over and done with. I've made a lot of memories and a lot of good friends, so I think the show will be something I treasure always.

Looking forward to starting the pool sessions for my dive training next week. Six months of work leading up to this moment. Can't wait! biggrin

Well, this certainly has been a fun couple of days. whatever

Monday afternoon, my monitor decided to stop working. Turns out the video card had fried, so while I could turn on the computer, it was next to useless without the monitor. So we ended up getting a new card today and installed, so now I'm able to use the computer again.

Well, that's not exactly...

Well, it's going to cost $135 to get the tooth out of my head. It's a lot of money, but it's better than having it still in my head. smile At least I've worked out a way to make sure I can take care of everything I need to take care of till the end of August, so there's no problem there. Then again, no plan...

So it looks as if I'm going to need to get another tooth removed. I had one of my wisdom teeth removed a year ago because it had gotten cracked and I was in pain. Thankfully, I had my work insurance to cover the cost, so I wasn't worried about it.

Unfortunately, I don't have that anymore. Or a job with witch to pay to...

Ugh, I am so sorry. The pain from a cracked tooth is so excruciating. You just pray for relief.
I am happy at least a portion of it will be covered!
alexsevy:
I'm not actually in any pain, mostly because I've spent the past year and a half avoiding eating out of that side of my mouth. But in about a month, the pool portion of my dive training will start, and I'm concerned that I'll be exposing myself to great pain if I leave it in. So knowing that I don't want to put that off any longer than I already have, I figured I'd might as well get rid of it, and worry about the aftereffects later.

Rearranged my top eight friends again. Still feel like doing so is a disservice to those I once had there.
