Did I tell you about the lady who is suing us cos she fell over and apparently I called her 'fat'? Well another person has come along since then and made a complaint against me, saying I was extremely rude to him on a day I wasn't even at work, and he wants me to be fired... Stupid bitch Helene said to me "That's two complaints, Kate, I don't know what to believe any more..." So..yeah...... I feel like someone hates me right now...

It's often told to people that they should stop and smell the roses. Sometimes we're so busy going from rose to rose trying to catch that elusive scent, that we forget to simply appreciate the beauty of the world and yes, life around us. It's hard not to look forward to things that are to come, so don't stop doing that. Simply try and take time to appreciate everything around you once in a while. When you step outside your front door, take a look to the sky, fill your lungs with the air, be it warm or frigid. When you see a color, pause for a moment to feel it before the reason it caught your eyes is gone. When you see a person smile, smile too, because smiles are far too few, and too far in between. I have lived more than some, and a great deal less than a great many others, but the life that I have lived so far I have attempted to live with all my heart, because I have seen a lot of loss in this world, and I feel it's best to try and not only hold on to something, but to give and to gain something from my life. I hope you find the way, and the time, to do the same.
