well i did it. after I got out of work saturday, I turned right around and sat in line for the Wii. It was the first time, and mabey the last time I sit in a line in the cold for a console. IT was fun though. I met some really cool people. One other guy from work stayed with me. I was going to stay at a friends house and show up around 6 in the morning but man I'm glad I didn't. around that time there was like 60 people there. When the opening managers and other employees saw me they eather said "its just a nintendo", "What the hell are you doing here?", or "I hate you.".
Yes it was freezing, it dropped down to 37 degrees w/ 91% humidy so it felt like it was 20. also there where some people that got there's from wal-mart that where trying to sell theres for $400 buck. no one wanted them.
Once tickets where handed out, one of they guys I was waiting with sold his ticket to this kid for $200 bucks, and the funny part was the kid tryed to cut in front of us...we told him to goto the back of the line.
It wasn't bad once we got it, it was pretty organized and fast. but we didn't get enough time to hangout and warm up. ah well....it was a blast, and well worth the wait. I had to do this at least once in my life time.
