So close to going home for vacation. Can't wait. Driving from washington to Michigan. Loading up the Harley. Can't wait to ride, see my nieces, the family. Gonna catch a tigers game.
These past six months have been trying, weird, enlightening. Just a mixture of things. Broke up with my gf, met a new girl who turned out wasn't right for me, went on deployment (still on deployment). Deployment was the best thing for me. Gave me time to think, take stock of where I am at in life and where I want to be.
Learning about yourself is scary and fun at the same time. I joined suicide girls, admitted to a friend of mine I am into bondage, quit trying to be something I am not. Confronted my Dad on the abuse I took as a kid from him. Scariest thing I ever did, liberating and weight off of my chest.
Learned how to be a better leader, manager of people.
A quote from my boss "your worst supervisor can be your best leader." Food for thought.
