so does oz have a thing where if you get something sent to you as a gift you don't have to pay customs? at least when i lived in iceland that was the case-- i'd just get friends to mail order stuff for me and then ship it to me as a gift. sure, it's a bit of extra time and shipping money, but it sure beat a 24% VAT tax.

I had a roommate from Australia some years ago who would eat vegemite like it was peanut butter. She spread huge amunts of it over salitines and ate it with Australian Velveeta cheese.

I tried some once, and I think that was the only time in my life I had the urge to vomit that didn't arise out of the effects of alcohol or from feeling generalized disdain.

My cousin did once...she said the dream had something to do with Taco Bell burritos. If I'd been dreaming about that, I'd have laughed myself awake, too.

My dreams are so very real I often can't differentiate between the two. Sometimes, I have the most lucid dreams, especially in the morning when I am waking, and I am aware that I am dreaming, but not quite able to bring myself into wakefulness. I like to try to stay in that zone for as long as I can because it feels like an inside line to my subconscious.

Ah yes, too bad I don't get adventurous with my food. I hate everything in the food world one way or another, but my favorite TV channel is Food Network. Its the only TV network that doesn't try to set pop standards, doesn't report on wars and doesn't have too many reality TV shows (they do have the cooking school shows). I am so craving mussels in a white wine and garlic sauce right now...mmm...I could so use a capri salad too cause I love good fresh tomatos and good motzerella (sp). I want to open a resturant/concert venue where you can have a good meal and rock out after dinner.

I'm currently an hour from Toronto. This is where I have planned to move to in the next few months. I visit NYC every year for a straight week of partying and club hopping! I love that city. Manhattan, Queens, Bronx, their all fantastic! If you move there, we can meet up for some shits and giggles, maybe even some drinks.
