Busy weekend...
Friday night I had about 14 people over to my place to have a 24 hour movie fest. My friend Tammy organized this, while I simply volunteered to host it since I had the projector. Everyone brought their fav movie, and we stayed up all night watching. 6pm Fri till 5pm Sat we watched 10 movies. I fell asleep through half of "The 3 musketeers" and through "Pirates of the Caribean", but I'd seen them both in the past month anyway. Good times.
Sat night I was going to attend a Latin Dance event that was fundraising for Tsunami relief, but my body was tired, and my heart heavy. Instead I ended up having a guitar night with Derek, Marnie, and Rox. I'm getting to the point of skill where I can actually teach Derek new songs. Yay for practice.
Sunday I woke up at 1pm with no plans and lonliness upon my soul. By 2pm I talked myself into calling up Ronalee, a cute girl I'd met at a christmas party. We ate at Boston Pizza and had excellent visit. She and I have a lot childhood/family history in common. I don't know if it'll be anything more than friendship tho... I'm preocuppied with a crush on a different friend. Y'know, after so many relationships, and 30 years of living, I'd hoped I'd be better at this "finding a partner" thing. *slaps self with a trout.
Its gonna be another busy wknd upcomming... I'll be in Regina friday night for a housewarming party. Sat night for a rave. Sunday night for a superbowl party (super... bowl??!?). And Mon to recover from previous days. Anybody want to meet for Tepenyaki Sushi supper on Sat?

and it's true. J loves oreos and one of our first camping trips , we were on our way home and he kept giving me the side with the filling.
