I can't believe Labor Day is around the corner....I wonder where the summer went, but I know. Somethings didn't get done, like going for a ride on my bike. I went out for my first ride of summer and I stopped for a traffic light and got tagged from behind by my riding buddy of all people. At least the paint job wasn't damage.
The good news is that it's now fixed after the repair shop being back logged and I get to pick it up this afternoon. Just in time too, I'm going on a memorial ride this Saturday for a friend of mine whom lost his dad last year.
One potential job fell through and after putting out dozens of applications, I finally got 3 interview. I'm going to Pueblo CO next week for a second interview, and I've done 2 phone interviews so far for a company in Austin TX. I'm hoping I'll get another phone interview with the owner of the company and maybe a face to face interview as well. If I do go to Austin for an interview, I wonder if I should be polite and offer to take @ambz out to dinner while I'm in town. 🤔
Hopefully, I'll get one of these openings and I'll be relocating in September. It's just frustrating, after making the commitment to go back to school and still haven't gotten a good position by now. But I guess it goes back to having patients, it's better to be in a job that I want and not stuck in a job I need.
