I just closed out my active military duty yesterday. I will now be teaching other men who are about to head overseas!

I sincerely hope that I'll never have to take another life, be shot at, spend months away from my family etc.

Prague is still my favorite visited city, though. I will be close to Sochi throughout the Olympics, but only for defense response - not to see any of the Games, I'm pretty sure. Russian troops will be stationed in perfect places to see what's going on etc., but don't want the rest of us in public. Maybe one of these days, I'll see an Olympics......

I got back to the States last Saturday; first return home in over a year. Almost never wear a dress uniform but I was headed to an American Legion dinner held for wounded vets and wanted to honor those unfortunate men by wearing something nice.
