I start the first of my exams today. I'll be glad to get them over with. Last night, two people were shot really close to my boyfriends apartment! Nobody is really sure what happened but the news said one person was shot in the head and the other was shot in the leg. This is very scary to me. The police haven't caught the guys who did it and it was like two blocks away! I am NOT going out by myself and definatly not at night! I hope you guys hear from me tomorrow!! miao!!

Thanks for stopping by my journal and saying hello. Sounds like a scary time in your neighborhoos. Hopefully it will be back to normal soon.

Aikido and German, an interesting combination. I've never "officially" taken aikido, but the arts I have studied incorporate a great deal of aikido principals. I do know how to roll pretty good and how to land without killing myself as a result. smile I am looking at an Aikido dojo in the area and may join. As for German, I used to use it every day, but alas, it is getting quite rusty.

Glad mine are done too. I used to live in a neighborhood where you'd hear gunshots all the time...the cops never came either. Looking back, I"m glad i left!
