Families huh! You can't pick 'em, they are a source of so much irritaion, anger, joy hilarity, pride ect
And mine are certainly causing all of these at the moment. My sister is running the london Marathon in aid of the Foundation for the Study of Infant Deaths, a charity very close to the family as one of my brothers died of it. She decided that to raise the money necessary for it she would organise some events that people could enjoy as well as donating money to the cause, Quiz nights, raffles, an auction ect.
One such event is a jumble sale, which in all honest is my idea of hell. The event is not till tomorrow and in the mean time my old dears house looks like a local fly tipping site, with friends, family and neighbours all getting rid of their unwanted crap round there. Much to my amusement my dad has started answering the phone as "hello this is steptoe's yard".
If anyone would like to donate to the cause that would be greatly appreciated, you can at donations.
Otherwise as my contribution to helping out i would like to organise a charity gig/concert and wondered if any of you great folks could contribute help, ie play in a band or some other performing art and would be prepared to play at a gig free of charge to help.

I think my walk of shame was not too bad considering I went back for more the next day and he's coming to see me this week hopefully. Thus less of a one night stand and more of a benefit scheme haha
