I don't who was mean to you, but, since you are one of my very favorites, I would like to give them a tongue-lashing with polysyllabic words, and arcane concepts they will never understand, because they must be complete MORONS!

The vast majority of my close friends are women and I've never heard any of them be mean-spirited or nasty (i.e. "Mean Girls') towards other women.  If I had, they'd not be my close friends.  (I happen to actually LIKE women. It's one of the reasons some of my best friends are lesbians--we have similar tastes!)   I learned a long time ago to only allow people into my life who truly like people.  I don't allow anyone to stay in my life if they're lacking in kindness, compassion, empathy, and a sense of humor.  Life's too short for that shit.  We're DESIGNED to love one another!!!  It's really the "Meaning of Life" (the Universe, and Everything").  Not 42.
