I had the same feeling recently flying into portland I didn't have internet but needed to conatct people posting rooms to rent and was stressing tremendously when the wi-fi at my hotel wasn't working for like 5 min. It's ridiculous when you realize how you become some dependent on one thing so quickly... But on the other hand-- hell, this is 2009 and we need our internet damn it! I am so torn, but congrats on your move! Hopefully mine goes as well.
