winter is my favorite season, but my favorite time of year is really that point in time where fall is slowly sliding into winter. you can feel it getting colder and can bust out the sweaters, but the leaves haven't all fallen from the trees yet. there's a crisp chill in the air, but its not so cold that you can't take a walk in the woods to admire nature's handiwork.
