I finally got my bottom two wisdom teeth out today.

The anesthetic is really wearing off now, which is bitter sweet - the numb tongue was really annoying, but the pain is now very evident.

I have pain killers, but they make me drowsy. Not that I'll have much to be awake for this weekend by any means. Rest, rest, and more rest!

After my...

Hopefully you're not having any troubles getting sleep. That's what's always tough for me. Everything else I can always do just fine, its just that if I don't get enough sleep I can't do anything. And it's very difficult to sleep when you're getting hit in the face with a hammer every few milliseconds. After I broke my collarbone that was the only time I ever took any of the vicodin that the doctor gave me was when I needed to sleep. It helped a bit, but the sleep I got helped a lot. biggrin

Yeah, my implanon only comes out in July, so I've got until at least then to decide if I want to remove it all together, or to replace it for another 3 years. We'll see how I feel then I guess...

I hope you're finding some time to curl up into a ball and watch a movie! (Or something of a similar degree of relaxfulness!)

I work for an Insurance company and as I'm sure you're all well aware of by now, the state of Queensland got fucked over after Cyclone Tasha crossed the coast on Christmas Day.

Floods, floods, flash-floods, and more floods.

The flooding in Brisbane last month was set to break new records and surpass the 1974 flood (which was the aftermath of Cyclone Wanda). Thankfully, the...

So my sickness went beyond my sinuses, and I believe I've ended up with a chest infection as well.

It's been a horrible few days!!

I've been keeping myself occupied with lots of naps, researching Las Vegas, and adding squirrel stuff to my wish list on amazon.com

It's insane how happy squirrels make me. I found a flying squirrel jumpsuit for adults!! Oh maaaaaaaaaaaan biggrin

I...

I received two really awesome comments over the last 24 hours..

1. You would be the perfect girlfriend
2. You should start your own business

Apart from having sinus problems when I awoke this morning, and spending most of Australia Day in bed, I've had an awesome 24 hours.

Head explodey feelings aside, I feel good!

Work hasn't been too bad.. that is until today. We had our first tears in the team. I felt very sorry for the girl in my team that took the call. It's going to be an emotional ride over the next few months.

I haven't cried yet, but I know it will come. Especially if I'm assigned to the sensitive claims involving fatalities.

I worked...

We lost power yesterday afternoon, so Misti came and got me - we went back to her house which still had power.

I had an awful sleep. I was so worried about my Dad, who is in the flood zone.

Misti was kind enough to drive me down there today. We didn't know what we were driving into, and needless to say - I was...
