Hello America...

Come late October, I'll be face planting back into the land of the free. We're looking at the following places, and anything of interest in between:

Los Angeles
San Diego
Vegas
San Francisco
Oregon
Washington
Cross the border into Vancouver
New York
New Jersey
Philadelphia
Chicago

Cherrytrash will be visiting next month, and we'll nut out some finer details.

We're looking at possibly...

Here's some food for thought.

"Recent research has found some crow species capable not only of tool use, but of tool construction as well. Crows are now considered to be among the world's most intelligent animals. The Jackdaw and (along with its fellow corvid, the European Magpie) has been found to have a neostriatum approximately the same relative size as is found in chimpanzees and humans, and significantly larger than is found in the gibbon."

Taken from Wikipedia.

Long live the crow! biggrin

I just read this on tumblr..

I was working in the information booth on the island. We were informed by radio of a bombing in Oslo, so we gathered all 700 people on the island together to tell them.

A couple of minutes later we got a phone call to say one policeman was coming on to the shore to see us.

I went to...

really makes you wonder what goes on in someones brain to make them do shit like this. Is their life so bad that they think they are saving people from the same pain by killing them ? Many people in this world need help that they cannot either afford or come to terms with the fact that they need to see someone. All governments should be helping everyone out in these matters. frown

Wow. That was really intense to read.

I have a lot on my mind.

My man's birthday, and the SGAU Ball are on the same weekend in September, then come October we're heading to the USA!!

So much of the organisation relies on things like compensation, and tax.

Why can't I just win lotto so we can do everything on a whim!!

Regardless of the money, and the organising, I'm super excited....

hey Tez, the hospital took a second round of blood work, they wanted to double check themselves. so, there really wasn't any need for a second opinion, the other issue was no one told me what was going on, until the second round of blood was being taken, so I didn't even know my blood was deficient anything, the nurse had told me that my blood work came back fine, the first time.

Didn't things change over night.

Today I was told that I could go back to my normal job as of Monday. It's bitter sweet, because I really wanted to see these flood claims through - but I'm so relieved!!!

I was just wondering how you were doing with that yesterday.

I told my boss today that I had to start putting myself first. That I'm not emotionally or physically OK thanks to my involvement in the flood claims.

Her responses were "it'll get better after this week" and "if you're asking me to go back downstairs, I'm sorry but I just can't approve that".

(Downstairs being where my normal job is).

I've got tears in...
