Okay, so Twitter is a tad bit addictive.

Being able to see what people like Nathan Fillion, Zachary Quinto, and Emma Bunton are doing each day really brings out the stalker in me.
Perhaps it is a good thing that Jim Parsons is not on Twitter. He'd have a hard time doing seasons 3 and 4 of Big Bang Theory chained up naked in my...

I went down into the city to visit my close friends, George and Andrew. Upon arriving at Andrews house I expressed my interest in getting a cheeseburger. When he asked me whether I would rather have Wendys, McDonalds, or Burger King I was faced with a problem. All three of those restaurants have burgers that are uniquely delicious. I could not choose.
It was at...

So only one person caught that the "fan" in my last pic post is SG's own resident geek cutie Wil Wheaton. You guys didn't wonder why out of a hundred fan pics I only posted that one? *tsk tsk* Oh well, not everyone can be awesome and nerdy. I went back and put the word 'fan' in quotes to make the joke more obvious for...

Inglourious Basterds (2009) The title of the film was inspired by Italian director Enzo Castellari's 1978 movie The Inglorious Bastards, but it is not a remake of that film

Tarantino has repeatedly stressed that despite its being a war film, the movie is his "spaghetti western but with World War II iconography".

And yes District 9 was definitely allegorical, they went all "Watership Downs" on this one and in that I think they did a fair job, the setting in South Africa was not without reason.

I don't think we can infer at all what the intentions of the Prawn race are. There was a line early in the movie that said that the majority of the occupants of the ship were workers and had no ambitions beyond their own survival. Some egg-head in the movie speculated that the ship lacked leader personalities, which was, to him, somewhat strange. The fact that the Prawn ship was packing a significant amount of military ordinance is telling. If they were a peaceful, exploratory species, then you'd have to think that the members of the ship would have to show more sophisticated behaviour than what the workers exhibited. Exploration is got to be a lot more complicated than blowing stuff up, and would require creative thinking and skills the worker Prawns seemed incapable of.

Okay! Pic time!!

As most of you know, I go to Comic Con every year out in San Diego. This year was especially memorable. This year I stayed with two of my favorite people in the world! My best friend Mike (Murnau ) and my other close friend John (OpticNerve). There aren't many people who can keep up with my geekiness but...

Wow....I just want to know...

How do you all keep up with all your internet profiles and social communities???

It is so time consuming! By the time I type up a post, write a journal entry, answer a few messages it seems an hour goes by and then another and then another. How do so many people manage to keep up with Facebook, Twitter, Myspace,...

Just to be clear....

I don't speak Italian. I am actually quite good at German, and I can dabble in a little French...but Italian....not a word.

But according to my Facebook profile (seen here---> http://www.facebook.com/search/?q=squeak&init=quick#/pages/SqueaK/112934207158 ) I am apparently quite proficient at speaking Italian.

Who knew??

Errrr...not me for one!

Ah well, not the first time and probably won't be the last. wink Apparently it is...

I miss Comic-Con too. I agree with Bob, there should be one every month! haha. Oh and I never got a chance to tell you, I went to the screening of Once More With Feeling, and I enjoyed it. Well, what I was awake for. I only got about 2 hours of sleep that day so after about 20 minutes of sitting, out like a light. Woke up at the end though, conveniently. I'm gonna try to watch it sometime soon, and stay awake for the whole thing.

German! Very cool, I would love to hear you auf deustch (I speak ein kleine bisschen hoch schule deutsch from 30 years ago). From some reason that just strikes me as so sexy. (Well, sexier than you usually are, which is already pretty hot.)

Despite both being latin derived, I guess current French and Italian are pretty different. 500 years ago, English and Old Dutch were so close that people could understand each other. Now look at them....

Well, it is official!

Squeakmachine.com is up and running!

Sorry for the wait everyone. Even though the site is now active, it is far from completion. I hope to get the galleries expanded the next update as well as some of the tutorial areas. I still have a ton of submissions and images to organize. So if you don't see something you submitted, it doesn't...

Due to the amount of discussion in random groups and journals on the site about my set, I thought I should clear up some issues....(you wouldn't believe the bizarre and fatuous speculations some people are dreaming up.) Feel free to point those discussions over to this journal entry. wink

- I intended for this set to spur a lot of discussion. I find it interesting that...

I understand completely when you said that you felt like a girl and not a woman. I feel like a little boy sometimes when I look at my chest. Getting them done is always in the back of my mind, but I'm going to wait it out and see if one day they magically fit into something larger than a 32AA. I loved your set. smile

Sorry I haven't posted in awhile. (Gosh, how many times has that been my opening line now?)

My list of excuses:
- moving into a new house takes up all my time
- my website is almost complete and we'll be launching it soon
- my rat ate my previous post
- my work schedule has been nuts

This month has been a good month...

glad to see you're back... love the new set... and yeah, Wolverine kinda sucked. With the exception of a few good parts, i really wished that i didn't spend the money to see it in the theater. Star Trek was great, i'm ready to watch it again... anyway... welcome back... you were missed.

Luv the new set!
Dark and a bit surreal at the same time.
Sexy as hell, too!
