I've avoided doctors like the plague since, having been born with a bad heart, I was told I'd die by 18, if not 21 ... and I've surpassed them all. no, I haven't lived healthy, but neither do I take medications or, as mentioned, see doctors excepting UC or ER only when necessary - I probably should, but it won't be anytime soon ( doctors, that is, not meds - I won't play that "game" ). with my food allergies to the things that are good for most people ( dairy, vegetables, wheat, corn, and more ) it's all the harder for "healthy" living for me. either way, I'm still here, surpassing all expectations, and intend on being here far longer - for myself and for my daughters. Keep strong, keep striving, and thanks for the awesome post
