I used to adamantly swear that I was never going to college. That I hated school, it hated me, that I found the institution corrupt and evil, and that I didn't need a college degree to be a writer.
And now here I am back in school full time, enjoying it, understanding why I need to be here, an looking forward to inevitably finishing. AND not being worried about or caring whether or not I finish by the time I'm thirty.

Ugh; that's basic no-'count situation. I usually treat a constellation of symptoms like that with a thorough lavage of 99 parts vodka to one part lime. (This statement has not been evaluated by the Food, Drug, and Spirits Administration.)

maybe my mom was crazy but when we had serious thraot issues she would get a little bottle of bartons vodka (about a shot) and mix it with 4oz of water and we had to gargle it all.
