God I'm so bored. I'm supposed to be starting a paper but I have a problem with doing things before the very last second. If its not due tomorrow it can wait.
I'm thinking about doing madlibs by myself. tongue
The lamp in the living room is hooked up to the clapper so when the dog barks it turns on and off. biggrin

"Travel is useful, it exercises the imagination. All the rest is disappointment and fatigue. Our journey is entirely imaginary. That is its strength."

I want to get in my car and drive. I've never been to Kentucky. Or Mississippi.

Ok, no prob. Pekoe is the leading edge of our attempt toward the revolution. She is a crackerjack Queer
street poet -- watch your nylons -- who
nonetheless permits me to have a crush on her because "I'm her bitch,"
too. I am a dude, she reminds me, like
I can forget, but "a very cool one." OK
For me that's like when Ishmael Reed used to call me "his Nigger" in the old
days. I'm hugely complimented by that.
Most writers can't be any better than
their powers for empathy.

So where are you, what place, and what are you doing there, and
where do you want to go next. Let's
see if the revolution can sweep you up,
and carry you along. Because this is
television I can show you our last campaign. Yes, we got our ass kicked
once again. We continue to fight, O'Neill says, and we continue to land
right on our fannies.

You can follow the sheer amazing
detail of that battle here, I think. If
not I will put this link in an email.
I love getting messages from you, by the way. Do you ever get to San
Francisco? Drago

I met some random people on my long walk home last night. I don't remember any of their names though. Making new friends when you're faded is fun. smile
I probably shouldn't have been wandering around the city by myself though. I always do it and so far I've...

I forgot that when you're in school you can never read what you want to read. Its all about what THEY want you to read. I'm staring at my bookshelf full of wonderful things I could be reading. I really want to finish "Made in America" by Bill Bryson. I'll just have to dust it off after I get my stupid piece of paper that...

ok, its time for some changes in my life:
*I will not be all "Oh sorry, was I in your way," when some asshole gets way up on my ass when I'm driving. I'm already going 10 fuckin miles over the speed limit. You can wait dammit.

*I'm just going to eliminate "sorry" altogether from my vocabulary. Not like the "Sorry I ran over your...

Sadly no, Spacehog broke up a few years back.. after 3 awesome albums. Royston Langdon from Spacehog is married to liv tyler, and has a kid with her.. and a new band called The Tender Trio, in NY. So good!

haha oh wow, we DO almost have the same birthday. Chances are I should have come out the same day as you, but overslept or something.. knowing me.
sativa:
good. so many sorry's are said so often, it takes away from the meaning of the word. you don't need to apologize for every random thing. smile

my boy and i get caught into a loop where that word just keeps slipping out, and it get's annoying because it's almost meaningless. stroke it from your everyday language!

that's ok, as long as you don't wipe them on door knobs or anything like that. tongue

The URL you've used points to a picture directory - you need to select the individual image file(s) and put each of those between IMG... \IMG tags.

Was it the cute dawgy?

steaky:
to get the right URL for a picture you want to post in your journal, after youve posted it in you folder, open to picture in the pop-up viewer, right click the image. in the menu selct properties, the in the window that opens, high light the URL it gives you the copy it and paste it into your journal with the IMG /IMG tags around it biggrin
