the eisner book is much less, um... approachable then mccloud's stuff. if you stick with it though, it's pretty damn brilliant.
and the spirit was a comic he did for newspapers in the 40's, it was amazing and super influential on a lot of modern stuff.

This is a municipal building with government functions and was selected because it fit within the budget of the project. In short, it's a terribly hideous looking failure that accelerates the decline of those inside.
that pretty much sums up 99.98% of post modern architecture IMHO. I've never been a big fan of Graves.
