Since announcing my pregnancy I’ve had a lot of messages about my mental health and saying how excited I must be now and it’s good to see me so happy. Yes I am incredibly happy, especially as I thought this day would never come for me as I was told I’d never be able to have kids.

Unfortunately I’ve had a rough start to the

Mental health issues are now the top illness across the globe, I too suffer from this, but can cope with medication, which has its side effects. You’re dealing with a lot of stuff my dear! I’m so happy your baby has given you strength and determination! Love you! 🥰💗💗💗💗🥰

People need educating about mental health issues. Well done for speaking about yours. You have my full respect and admiration and of course love and any support I could give I'd do so willingly. Many congratulations on your pregnancy. As a father of four I can tell you there is nothing in life as good, as hard, as frustrating or as scary as being a parent. You'll be a good mum for sure xxx

I’m so incredibly overwhelmed by all the love and support I’ve received since announcing that I’m expecting a little bubba. I can’t quite believe how generous and kind everyone is being and I’m quite overwhelmed and so so grateful! Thank you all so much 💕💕💕

Hi Sammiii, sorry that I'm just now catching up on your earlier blog posts. I was diagnosed with severe colitis in high school (US here), had my colon removed while at university, and was fine. Twenty years later, and it turns out I had Crohn's all along, so I have new battles to fight and new stresses to face. I completely agree that talking and raising awareness are very important.
