Currently in progress. Work has been hectic, so the light usually isn't good for long when I'm off during the week and I only get work on it a little at a time. Been good for de-stressing though.

Some progress shots from along the way:

Hands are hard. Hands that are also landscapes (handscapes?) must be painful. But worth the pain, I think. It's like a dynamic still-life, with all sorts of dramatic suggestions of where it COULD move... but might not. Thank you, I quite enjoy this painting (even if calcified extrusions coming through my flesh is one of the many things that make my skin crawl). Hope you're still at it, two years on.

Today it was brought to my attention that my old livejournal from 2008-2010 still existed (since rectified LOL). On one hand, I think it's criminal that the account didn't self-destruct at any point in the last decade. On the other hand - I found this (hideous? amazing?) gem of Nebs through the ages πŸ’€

I think most of these pictures are from 2003-2009.

This is fucking awesommmme. I think I would probably cringe myself into a coma if I found mineΒ πŸ˜…

🀣some cringeworthy alright but adorable & fierce back then too I see. I like to look back through my old albums sometimes, no matter how cringeworthy I remember the good times that went with them! The 80’s were WAY more cringeworthy though, especially in Ireland! Miami Vice was not my best look!

Stealing this Q&A blog that's been floating around...I always like to see/do these πŸ™‚ just a nice way to get to know people better...

1) Height? 5'3" πŸ“

2) Virgin? Naw

3) Do you smoke? Naw

4) Do you drink? Very very rarely. Maybe once or twice a year. Mostly naw on this one too though.

5) Age you get mistaken for? 20s usually.

"2) Virgin?" that's a serious question? I'd skip the bullshit and go directly to "Your most memorable sex experience?" 😜

To be honest, my backpacking trip feels like it happened a lifetime ago. Life has been weird and hectic the last week and a half.

I don't think I mentioned - I got promoted at work right before I left on my trip. Which was both nice and annoying for complicated reasons. But I had about three days of being grateful for that and feeling...

There are definitely cycles in life where we have periods of good times and bad, but this year defies all cycles. Its just been garbage. My joy has been maintained this year by disconnecting my TV and training for Ultra running. Even though my races got cancelled I created my own 31 mile course in San Diego that I will be running in a couple of months. To make it more official I invited other people to run all or part of it with me.

go into the nature or underwater helps me to sort things out and get another perspective on things. Without any perspective in my normal job I try to find alternatives. In summer I was at the ocean and workded as a scuba teacher. Got an offer to do it next year for the whole session, but nobody knows what happens next year.

Just bliss.

@nebula I will fly to Ibiza on Saturday and work as a scuba teacher for 5 weeks. So happy that I can travel and stay at the ocean for a while. In my main business I cannot work atm. Events are dead. First out - last in.

Haven't been *behind* the camera in a while but got to (socially distantly) shoot with a friend this past week and really happy with the photos we took.

Really motivating me to schedule more shoots as a photographer πŸ™‚

If you're an SD area based model please feel free to reach out about setting something up - you can see more of my photography work...

You are as creative behind the camera as you’re in front of it! Love everything you do, lady β™₯️

Oh! All nice photos, but I like #3, the girl coming out of the water, a lot. There's some kind of geometric poetry going on with the symmetries, and the colours are crisp and lurid. Hope you still find enjoyment doing these kinds of things.

I know most of you guys are not local in San Diego, but I wanted to share some resources I've been using/sharing to contact my local reps about police oversight and accountability. I hope this is useful to those who are local, and gives those who are not ideas for how to contact their own reps. With the links below and email template, contacting my...

My camping set with @adastra hit a nice milestone today πŸ––. Wish this set was doing better in MR than it has been, but we had the most fun shooting it and that's what matters most. I've been really missing my best friend - we live on opposite sides of the country so not sure when I'll see @adastra again with everything going on. Grateful...

Are you saying the set is on a four-year mission to hit the home page? That seems a bit excessive.
