Woo Hoo! Glad to hear the show went well. I know how that goes: My old band drove from RVA to NYC to play CBGBs. We made $9, which didn't even cover our tolls outta the city. It was still a cool experience, and we got a great board tape. Our drummer had a studio in RVA and he mixed it down to 2 channels. It was the greatest recording of our line up, and he promptly went and lost it. FUCK! Oh well. Hope you enjoyed the movie. That sucks that we missed you the other night. We got off to a late start. Seems like we're always 2 steps away from each other. Oh yeah, I hired Jay today. He'll start later this week. Well, I MIGHT come to the show tomorrow, but I'm pretty busy at work preparing for inventory. Hope to see ya soon.

When I'm down in my place in Florida, as I am at the moment, I usually use the time to work on one of my film scripts, and this time also for what was supposed to be X-mas with family, though it didn't quite work out that way. I'll spare you the details, but at the very least, last night (or night before last, now, as it's after midnight even by west coast time) I got some work done, creatively- both in sorta broad strokes w/ the aforementioned scripts, and more specifically in some poetry, as my situation this Christmastime led to akind of melancholy state that I used to feed my creativity. At least sadness is good for something. Anyway, sorry to use all your journal space with all this.
