It's been a really rough couple of days. I came home from work today and took my little fur baby, who is suffering from really bad separation anxiety for a 3km walk.

I decided afterwards I'd relax in my bath and wanted to lie down. I'm pretty short.... Fun Sized, as I liked to call it. What one lacks in height, they gain elsewhere etc...

As some of you may have seen or know already, two days ago I had to put one of my dogs to sleep.

Buffy was fighting a losing battle with cancer and had a big tumor removed from her mouth a little over 8 months ago.

I'm so so sorry <3 I recently lost one of my kitties so I know how terrible you feel. Give yourself and your other puppy some time.

I am so sorry for your loss. Last year I had to cross two of my dogs - one was 16 and had just had a debilitating stroke, and the other was diagnosed with bone cancer. I am pretty sure that my other pup was just as heartbroken as I was. Losing both of her doggie companions in less than three months could not have been easy. I did end up adopting another dog shortly afterwards, because my girl was very lonely. He has done a lot to help us heal.

As most of you who read my blogs will know, my pop passed away last year at Christmas. Last week I got the sad news that his farm had sold.

I've taken an extra day off work to have a 3 day weekend to come up to Tamworth and have my final goodbye on the property and say goodbye to the last of the animals...

Anyone who follows you knows how much that farm meant to you. Despite the smile it must be very difficult to let go but the only constant in life is that change is inevitable. I assume your father was the driving force keeping the farm going and without him someone needed to take over. It is a shame that it is not going to stay in the family but I am sure that without him there the farm will never be the same to you.

nothing overly exciting. just slaving like a chummp at work although its been a breezy week so far despite our offsite staff taking "sickies" as usual which leaves me to fend for the office (my skill set is too broad to allow me to be promoted or to work off site). its been ok other then that but there is still friday.
