>No teams yet. We dont want to split off until we're really well practiced and can put on a real good show.
Gotcha. That's how my friend said it went in Providence. They have done well so far, with 2 bouts and another in the works for September. The attendance has grown considerably and they've even had the mayor at the bouts. There are a couple of pics in my "pics for posts" folder.
One of the girls that helped start it up is in the process of getting a league in Boston going. I hope that all these clubs in the Northeast can get it together and start playing against each other.
What position do you play?
Did you know about the big Roller Derby convention coming up in Vegas?
Thank you

Hey ther karma.
sorry I don't keep in touch a whole lot. extremely busy.
I was just wondering if you would be interested doing an interveiw for my paper I will be writing on suicide girls and the feminist community.
basically I just am interested in knowing if you identify with bother communities, do you feel that it is you who is ultimately in controll, what suicide girls means to you. etc etc. I feel it's important to talk to the womyn involved, because they have the personal experience (and not just the theories) to be able to speak out of.
so if you have time, just e-mail me at vocal_feminist@hotmail.com
take your time, there's no rush.

Mine are already on thier way!
I think we may have a mutual friend. Do you know Jeremy? I don't know how to spell his last name, but I have it in an email or two if it would remind you. If I'm right, he painted a portrait of you.
Did you get your big fireworks? We didn't see any, but we heard a few.
