Thanks for the earth hour update. I ended up later at night looking up all the different cities in the world participating. Yahoo had a great slideshow of all the landmarks before they lights went out and after.

Do you know any of her other friends? I'm not sure how well an "Intervention" kind of thing would work, but it could be a start. Also, just showing her love and support. if she knows she has you (or other family) to go to in case of a problem that could give her a little strength as well. she knows someone is there for her.
