Good luck on your feline quest. smile

I've actually met a couple kitties from the SPCA. The reason I didn't is because there are other rescues, smaller/no-kill/surviving off donations that could use the adoption fee, and also because a friend needs to rehome some kittens she rescued so, there's also a cat that my cousin fostered for one a mtl based rescue who she *loved* but then had to move across the country, so i may try to adopt this cat.... a little complicated and i don't know what is morally the best thing to do-- i'm hoping to just find a little lovecat that bonds with me instantly, and then i won't have any doubts as to who i should bring into my house! smile

I am looking for a cat to adopt... with short fur (as I have no problem with cats with short fur, and strangely, often no problem with cats with very long fur, but that silky medium length fur I have reactions to!)... I miss my cat to no end...

When I left my exboyfriend, I intended 100% to take the cat... But after I had...

My last entry was very short and got some very funny responses.

I'm working on a massive paper about national/cultural identity and am quite intrigued by my findings.
I won't share any of the information until the paper's done, and all names remain confidential anyway, but how's this for interesting...
Every single person I interviewed (US or Canadian citizens who are "completely" Italian, meaning both...

I have an Italy sticker on my car because I identify with my Italian heritage more than any of the other mutt heritages I have in me. That being said, I would rather watch paint dry than watch futbol(soccer).

I wish I would lose weight without meaning too

You think you know your audience until you find out otherwise. Broadcasting my thoughts on the internet isn't terribly private but somehow it feels like it... as if only someone exclusive community of readers can see what I say... but of course, this isn't true... Maybe I need to put on some filters...

I'm very nauseous this morning...puke How nice. For no reason, either. I'm...

Bad stuff is going to happen from time-to-time - it's an unavoidable part of life. It definitely does not mean that you're cursed or somehow ineligible for happiness, even if it sometimes feels like that might be the case. You have an incredibly bright future awaiting you - I consider myself very fortunate just to have the chance to watch your journey into that future from afar. smile

Hope you and your mom do have the chance to get away for a bit. It always seems like there will be plenty of time for that sort of thing, but it's likely to be more difficult after you graduate. Figure out something inexpensive and go have fun together.

The thing that really annoys me with the Photoshopping is that even when most of the image is left relatively intact, it's becoming common practice to heavily Photoshop the face, creating a sort of mask. I don't have a problem with someone smoothing over a blemish or two, but that's not what's happening. Even the very best photographers are doing it now, presumably because they don't think they have a choice. It's ruined some otherwise wonderful sets for me.

Very excited to hear you're writing songs. If they're good, you shouldn't have much trouble forming a band. Songwriting is the musical skill that's rarest and in the highest demand. Make us some solo demos!

I really want to go to the Caribbean. I'm not sure exactly where, although some islands certainly interest me more than others do.... I don't want to stay at an all-inclusive, I would much rather do a guest house, especially one with a kitchen, as I've got some brutal food allergies... It takes away a lot of pressure when I know that if I can't...

I've been to Jamaica, all inclusive resort in Montego Bay was very nice, lots of good day trips; went with mother and sister. They also hit Cuba and Dominican without me in later years; said that it was much better with me and in Jamaica because they felt safe enough to go out; wherever they were in the other two, as two women, they did not leave their resorts at all, sadly.

La runion c'est gnial smile
Well it's Indian Ocean... but it's still paradise, just a bit far from Qubec.
I lived there for 2 years and that's amazing souvenirs, so many hicking to do! The ancient volcano splitted in 3 "circus" going high up, and with incredible water falls, plants and crazy pretty birds and spiders ! (watch out where you walk because they make huge, i mean HUGE spider web where you don't want to stick in...

right next to La runion there is Mauricus (Ile Maurice) it's english there, and less montains, but god made paradise beachs.

Carabiean must be an amazing place i wish you'll find a pretty place to stay !

I bought this organic, probioitic, chocolate frozen yogurt the other day because it was on sale and cost as much as the regular stuff. Hell, why not try it?

I have no idea if the probiotics could possible be functioning after chilling in my freezer, but damn, that stuff was really yummy. Better than the usual frozen yogurt I buy. Mmmmmm. Cold, rainy day and...
