Most people allow anonymous questions, but I don't think that's mandatory. Anonymity seems to lead to a lot of rude and/or idiotic questions. I have a hard time seeing the point of the thing, although some interesting questions do get asked. I've never done one myself. The two most likely possibilities in my case - dumb questions or none at all - don't leave me too excited about the idea.
