Sorry to hear about your mom. Hope she is fine, my grandma had to have her toe amputated too, last year, and it was super frightening, we thought she was going to lose her leg up to her knee, but they ended up only taking a toe, she was very lucky. I hope the same thing is true for your mom, and that she has no more problems.

working a lot but it keeps me in this apartment.
But really nothing new or exciting.
I do want to travel. Maybe just take a 3-4 day weekend somewhere. Anywhere really just not here.
