I was just thinking about this subject earlier. I agree with @silentobjectorx in everything he said, too. I'm not sure why here in the US we have very contradictory attitudes towards sex, and speak of it as if it's this terrible, guilt ridden, shameful bad thing that we also desperately want to engage in. It's a mindfuck for a lot of people over here, especially younger folk and in particular young women. I can't tell you how many times I wanted to smack a parent across the face for yelling at their (often teenage) children about sex-related issues, but I know that it's not my place. Sure, sex can have risks, but it's not all STDs, pregnancy, or people selfishly out to use others strictly for their own pleasure. Sex can be emotional, spiritual, and even social.
