Thanks to everyone who made recommendations on treating my flu and asked me to feel better...I'm trying my damndest, trust me
A few people mentioned vitamin C so I went out and bought some tablets. As for echinacea, I looked it up and a lot of sites are saying the results are inconclusive...so for now, it's Dayquil, vitamin C tablets and throat spray for me....

It's official.
I am extremely sick. I had a fever all last night and no matter how many blankets or clothes I piled on, I kept shivering. My head is pounding like there's some guy with a mallet on the inside of my brain trying to get out. My throat feels like there's a piece of glass stuck in it. Every time I yawn or...

Canadians like to tout their medical system as beign all so more egalitarian, but the truth is in at least Calgary it is laid on the foundations of inequal distribution that follows the concentration of classes in the city(my comrade actually proved this with a university study paper he did by utilising info available on the city fo Calgary websites).
For example in the north west, sout west their are a total of 6 medicenters or drop in clinics VS the eastern and northeastern parts of the city which have only 3.This trend goes for almost every government service, except for of course police stations!!
At any rate this is only the backdrop to my own personal experience when I got sick and tried to see a local mediclinic, the waiting time was rediculous and to this day I travel across the city just so I wont have to wait 5 hours to see a doctor.
And like the others here are saying; the combination of Vitamin C, echinacea and I will one up here zinc(ooooo aaaaa zinc) lozenges are good, also fresh lemon and ginger tea and lots of it are also a good remedy.

Sounds exactly like when I had Strep Throat a year ago. I was stuck in bed for about 4 days and people just kept shoving all kinds of medicine down my throat. Best thing that helped though was just regular tylenol sore throat liquid. But the effects only lasted a couple hours at most.
Hopefully you feel better soon and don't fall behind in class. And now I'm off to class before I skip again x_x;

What the fuck happened to the nice weather?! Friday it was in the 30's and it was sleeting/hailing all day, not to mention the wind gusts were terrible. The weather got bad enough that the school closed around 3 and I got to leave work early...which is cool because my boss is still going to pay me my full rate.
Saturday I went with Steve...

I freakin love going to roller derby. Hot chicks gunning for each other, hells yeah!!
And, yeah, tell me about it with that freakish weather change over the weekend. I got home from work on Friday and realized my ice scraper was in my honey's car. So I figured I'd stand my windshield wipers up so they didn't get ice glued to my car. This was the first time I've EVER done that. Next morning I went out to my car and some ass clown had snapped my driver side wiper completely off!!! It was a clean break, there's no way it could've been accidental. I wanted to KILL!!! That's my new car, man, my baby.
I'm really happy to hear you're making progress with yer boy. Even if you guys just stay friends, at least he's back in your life.
Feel better, cookie. xoxo♥

Whew! It was hotter than balls in Philadelphia today. I think the high for today was 73. I took advantage of the warm weather by wearing a skirt I bought a couple of months ago for the first time today. Sadly, I lost enough weight between then and now that the skirt doesn't exactly fit right and doesn't have belt loops so I had to...

Wishing not to be a sexist jerk but it's just my nature...just watching you while you speak anything would be a beautiful and A-inspiring experience for any professor. Seriously.
I'm so excited, my flatwork and ID package for my portfolio class is almost finished!
I'd show everyone what I mean but A) I'd have to blur out my real name and address which would detract from the sexiness and B) While I mean no offense to anyone here, I''m having issues with people stealing my ideas/designs lately.
Someone stealing my ideas?! Yes, that's right....

I hate copycats. So many people are so unoriginal. Well I'm sure you did a great job!! No need to show us. I believe ya!

It's awesome that telling a lot of people about the idea created and solved the problem at the same time.
Weird.
Weird.
It has come to my attention that more and more people are making requests for print work. Well, your voices shall not go unheard...I am willing to send signed prints to anyone that wants one as soon as I get an idea of costs. For now I'm interested in knowing what prints people would like...I'm not entirely sure what the rules are for sending prints...

I wish I could help figure out HOW to do it, but alas. I'm useless. Though I do encourage you TO do it. Why stop there? Maybe make some posters? T-Shirts? Bobble-heads? Hell, why not open up a roadside Ember paraphernalia store? You'd make BILLIONS!!
haushinka:
A print of you with Super Nintendo controller in one hand and Double D's coffee in another will do just devinely.
So.
Some good things happened today. I won't explain them in detail here because A) I love you guys but some things are better left private and B) I don't want to get my hopes up too much. But for now I am a very happy Ember.
Other good news: the 2D class I was bitching about before isn't as bad as I thought it...

Don't worry - I won't jinx you!
My advice would be take it slow and easy, don't take anything for granted, and let things just take their time.
Which I'm sure you already know!

"It is said that 200 years ago the Great Flea travelled to the other cheek in search of prosperity. Years passed by and the colony of fleas waited for this chosen one to return. Finally after 5 years, the Great Flea appeared with mounds of lint for every flea, young and old. Since that time, the colony practices an annual pilgrimage to the other cheek in memory of the Great Flea. Few survive, but the perilous journey is one of self-discovery. It is called the Butt-Trek to Prosperity."
I'm really tired.

that is one hairy ass
Nothing to see here.
I went out into the living room just now and discovered that all the posters that were on the walls have been taken down. My roommates are packing their stuff and getting ready to leave. It's all starting to become a little too real for me now.

"So consider all these posts to be one big group hug (agreed fellow co-posters?)! "
Agreed.
I find some of the best art comes out of these feelings. If anything try and concentrate on your drawings and animation. Maybe you'll make something that somehow makes you happy as an accomplishment. It's a start and it takes your mind off things.
