You must have experienced a chemical burn if it hurt you that bad !!!!! That's pretty dangerous you know ..; you should be careful with bleaching !
I did bleach my hair several times in the past but it shouldn't hurt ... light burning sensation is ok ... but worse than a chest tattoo definetely not !
Maybe the peroxide your friend was using was way too strong for your hair type ... It would have been better to bleach several times with a lighter formula ( with 2 days between each bleach sessions ) than burning your scalp !
Hope the final result will be ok though ... can't wait to see !
