It's by no means original, but I'm making a 16 hour brined, 23lb. Turkey (no stuffing - instead the birds getting crammed with herbs and aromatics), a metric fuck-ton of cherry/pecan/challah bread dressing, a barrel full of garlic/parmesan mashed potatoes, a decaliter of cranberry 'dipping' sauce, and a Spanish galleon loaded down with a fabulous turkey gravy. It's not a ton o' food, but I've got a small kitchen. Luckily enough, I've convinced those friends and family who can cook to expend the extra effort and bring something homemade...no store bought anything.

People ask me why I love to cook. I answer, 'It's how I say I love you'...
