When I was "babysitting" like 12 kids one Saturday night...most of them my age or older. Their families were visiting Northern WI and staying in the mansion my mom used to clean on the weekends. They wanted someone "local" to big bad scary WI to sit with the kids. I was incredibly shy, plus I felt a little weird being there as a peer and getting paid for it. They kept jumping off the second story floor onto the couch on the bottom floor and screaming...I could not stay awake for the life of me and fell asleep (despite all this). But, alas, I got paid well.

Then another time, I got hired to "babysit" a girl my age that was staying at the resort I did dishes at. We rode around on a tandom bike and got ice cream. Once again, I got paid well.....OMG! I was a prostitute! A teenage escort! HOLY Fuck....no wonder I turned out to be a therapist

My babysitter woke me up at about 3 in the morning, holding a rolling pin and looking rather upset, told me there was someone trying to break into our house. She made me go to the door to scare them away. I was about 7 or 8. It was the single most scary thing I've ever had to do, because there was a guy in my garden. Lucky for me and the babysitter, he jumped over the wall when he saw me. She made me promise not to tell my mum, I don't think I ever actually did.

And the worst job I've ever had was actually unpaid work experience. I spent two weeks in an office and all I did was stick labels on envelopes and do a lot of photocopying. surreal SO boring!
