I am finally over the flu!! It took a week and waking up with an earache the other day but I did it. An urgent care visit and some antibiotics later I am flu free and at least pain free from my ear infection. Damn those things are painful haha.

With no more sickness I’ve been back at work which made for a busy weekend...

The flu takes it out of you for days afterwards and I'm glad you've recovered. Just got back from 3 weeks in Australia so my bank won't let me do much for quite a while! My sons 14th birthday coming up and I've got to think of something for him. 😍

@skisby that sounds amazing! And exactly what it’s all about. My family used to have huge gatherings with 15+ people too for the holidays. Everyone would be there but over the years it has dwindled down which is unfortunate. Certain people aren’t around anymore or don’t get along, now it’s mostly my siblings and their kids which is really okay for me although I’d love to see everyone else to! Now that I’ve moved out of state it is especially a bit complicated to get all together. I’m sad this year I don’t have gifts to hand out I just love to see people’s reactions and then enjoy the thought that goes into it. I’m glad your kids understand the thought and bonding time over anything!
