Congrats on feeling pain free. I'm with you on the religious aspect of Christmas. I tend to focus on the spirit of goodwill and showing warmth/compassion to others rather than the biblical reasons for doing so. One tradition for me is reading A Christmas Carol the week before. I buy a silly ornament for my daughter each year to start her "collection". And I host a Boxing Day game of Cornhole (bag toss kind of like horseshoes) for my neighbors - complete with Hot Toddies and Goldschlager-spiked hot chocolate.

YES! I'm going to look at my schedule, cause my Boyfriend's work classifies Seattle as his territory, so he can actually get them to pay for his hotel so he can visit auto body shops during the day repping his products. If he gets everything approved, we'll be going for sure!
