You're very wise! I feel much the same way about most of those things, only it took me longer to reach those conclusions ;-) But the one thing I really would tell my 5- (or 20-) years younger self is to acquire a thicker skin, let the dogs bark while the caravan marches on, and not get too downbeat about the little setbacks in life. Life has a way of moving on, and many of the worries that seem big to us look a lot smaller when looking back at them.

1. People would be a lot more interesting if they were themselves instead of someone who everyone else wanted them to be.  2. Strongly agreed! We really needed that 10-day Alaskan cruise.  I used to go camping alone for several days at a time.  After getting married, I don't really do that any more, but still love the outdoors.  3. Totally! Even if you're married, you need to still spend some time alone.  Good advice!
